BYD unveiled its flagship electric SUV, the BYD TANG, in Costa Rica. The launch event, titled "A New Look at the Future", attracted more than 100 local businessmen, government officials and guests from the media.
The BYD TANG is a luxury seven-seater all-electric SUV, with premium Nappa leather seats. The BYD TANG incorporates the largest touch screen of BYD SUVs, at 15.6 inches. BYD's Intelligent Cockpit System provides an intuitive way to navigate the vehicle's many functions, ensuring a smooth and intelligent driving experience. In addition, the car features intelligent, interactive 31-color cabin lighting, creating a kaleidoscope of colors that respond intuitively. It offers a formidable power of up to 510 HP, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds and boasts an impressive total range of 635 km. The new model is powered by a 108 Blade battery,

Marco Acuña Mora, Executive President of the Costa Rican Electricity Institute (ICE), and Carlos Mejía, Vice Minister of Strategic Management, attended the event.
