Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 1592/QD -TTg dated July 24, 2025 consolidating the National Committee for TB termination (National Committee) .This president of the National Committee is Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long. Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The members of the National Committee include: Mr. Do Ngoc Huynh, Deputy Chairman of the Government Office; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, Deputy Minister of Education and Training; Mr. Vu Chien Thang, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs; Ms. Trinh Thi Thuy, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai, Deputy Minister of Defense; Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Mr. Ngo Le Van, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Bui Van Kham, Deputy Minister of Finance; Ms. Tran Lan Phuong, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Womens Union; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Dinh, Vice Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of Vietnam Farmers Association; Mr. Vu Thanh Luu, Vice Chairman of the Central Vietnam Red Cross; Mr. Do Duc Hoang, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television Station; Ms. Doan Thi Tuyet Nhung, Deputy General Director of Vietnam News Agency; Mr. Dinh Van Luong, Chairman of the National TB Program, Director of Central Lung Hospital; Mr. Vu Cong Thao, Senior Specialist in the Department of Science - Literature, Government Office, Secretariat Member.This Decision takes effect from July 24, 2025, replacing Article 1 of the Prime Ministers Decision No. 17/2024. and improve the peoples health. The specific task of the Committee is to research and propose to the Prime Minister strategy, direction, solution and action plan to solve issues related to tuberculosis prevention and control in order to stop tuberculosis in Vietnam by 2030. Help the Prime Minister to direct and coordinate ministries, agencies and localities in resolving issues related to the resistance to the national infrastration; urge ministries, departments, branches and unions in performing tasks, action programs and activities related to tuberculosis prevention and control in order to terminate tuberculosis in Vietnam by 2030; Periodically and irregularly report to the Prime Minister on the operation situation of the National Committee.
