Russia and China have always adhered to mutual respect, equality, non-interference in each others internal affairs, and firm support for each others core interests. The comprehensive strategic cooperation between the two countries is at an unprecedented high level. President Xi Jinpings recent visit to Russia to attend the BRICS Kazan Summit was the greatest support for Russia as the host country, and made an important contribution to the full success of the Kazan Summit and the strengthening of global South cooperation. In the face of an unstable world, the importance of maintaining communication between Russia and China has become more prominent. Russia is willing to work with China to implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state, strengthen bilateral cooperation, and strengthen cooperation in multilateral mechanisms such as the United Nations, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and the BRICS, so as to promote new and greater development of Russia-China relations.
