Xu Liuping, Secretary of the Party Group, Vice Chairman and First Secretary of the Secretariat of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, Liu Zhenfang, Secretary of the Party Group and Chairman of the China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
Entrusted by Wang Dongming, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and chairman of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, Xu Liuping extended warm congratulations on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Railway Federation of Trade Unions, extended cordial greetings to the workers and trade union workers who are struggling on the railway front, and paid high tribute to the pioneers and martyrs of the railway labor movement and their descendants, as well as the older generation of railway trade union workers. Xu Liuping stressed that the trade unions at all levels of the railway should study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech as a major political task for the current and future period, and in accordance with the requirements of the 18th National Congress of the Chinese Trade Unions, always adhere to the party's overall leadership as the highest political principle and fundamental guarantee for the work of the trade unions, and firmly adhere to the correct political direction of the trade union work; Strengthen the ideological and political guidance of railway workers to ensure that the railway industry army will always be the party's most reliable industrial force; vigorously carry forward the spirit of model workers, labor spirit, and craftsman spirit, and widely mobilize railway workers to make contributions; Actively promote the construction of harmonious labor relations, and strive to provide employees with more considerate services that can be felt, known, and accessible; We will continue to deepen the reform and innovation of trade unions, and vigorously improve the total capacity and overall level of trade unions to serve the masses of workers.
In her speech, Liu Zhenfang pointed out that the Chinese railway trade unions and Chinese railway workers have a glorious revolutionary history and strong red genes. Chinese railway workers were the first to accept Marxism, the first to accept the party's leadership, and the first to enter the political arena of the Chinese revolution. Over the past 100 years, the China Railway Trade Union and Chinese railway workers have always inherited the red gene of "always listening to the party and always following the party", worked hard and moved forward bravely, and fought for national independence and people's liberation, and realized the prosperity and strength of the country and the happiness of the people, and wrote a magnificent railway chapter in the process of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
