📋 Tender Overview
In the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, above the blue waves, a giant deep red steel dragon crosses the river, which is a spectacular sight.
This is another crossing channel on the Yangtze River. At the construction site of the G3 Tongling Yangtze River Highway-Railway Bridge, the construction of the bridge's ancillary projects is progressing in an orderly manner. At present, the 11.88-kilometer-long bridge has been fully connected, and various ancillary projects have entered the final stage of construction, and will be ready for traffic in July this year.
In order to enhance the crossing capacity of the Yangtze River main line, this bridge realizes the integration of "highway, intercity railway and freight railway" across the river. "The combined construction of highway and railway needs to meet the safety and comfort of high-speed rail driving, and puts forward very high requirements on the vertical stiffness of the bridge, the longitudinal displacement of the beam end and other indicators." said Xiao Haizhu, chief engineer of China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Institute.
What to do? In the design of the G3 Tongling Yangtze River Highway-Railway Bridge, the cable-stayed bridge and the suspension bridge are organically combined, which not only retains the advantage of the high rigidity of the cable-stayed bridge, but also utilizes the strong spanning capacity of the suspension bridge. At the same time, by adopting the cross-joint scheme, 3 to 6 months of construction time are saved, which not only achieves the dual optimization of technology and construction time, but also creates the world's first double-deck cable-stayed-suspension cooperative system bridge.
The bridge connects the urban area of ??Tongling on the south bank of the Yangtze River with the county of Congyang on the north bank. After it is completed and opened to traffic this year, it will not only become a convenient channel for national expressways and short-distance intercity transportation, but will also form a rapid rail transit line connecting Hefei, Anqing and the urban areas of Tongling, realizing optimal allocation of resources in a larger scope and promoting coordinated development of the regional economy.
Looking at the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the construction of cross-river passages is accelerating, and the backbone roads are also being extended. Looking west, the construction of the Hubei section of the Wuhan-Chongqing Expressway is in full swing. At present, the Hanchuan-Tianmen section has been completed, the Wuhan-Hanchuan section and the Suiyue Expressway-Tianmen-Jingmen section are expected to be completed by the end of this year, and the Tianmen-Jingmen section to the Erguang Expressway is planned to be completed by the end of next year. The four projects have completed an investment of 28.8 billion yuan ahead of schedule, accounting for 73% of the total investment.
"The Wuzhong Expressway is located between the Shanghai-Chengdu Expressway and the Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway. It is an important part of the 'Yangtze River Delta-Chengdu-Chongqing Main Axis' in the main skeleton of the national comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network. After completion, it will effectively strengthen the economic ties between the middle reaches of the Yangtze River urban agglomeration and the Yangtze River Delta and Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomerations, and provide strong support for the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt." A relevant responsible person from the Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission said.
The trunk highway along the Yangtze River is an important part of the comprehensive three-dimensional transportation corridor of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. According to the Highway Bureau of the Ministry of Transport, by the end of last year, the total mileage of the regional highway network in the Yangtze River Economic Belt reached 2.446 million kilometers, of which the total mileage of trunk highways reached 309,000 kilometers, and the mileage of expressways open to traffic was about 73,000 kilometers. The main channel of the expressway along the Yangtze River that runs east-west has been initially formed, with a mileage of more than 3,500 kilometers completed and open to traffic, and a completion rate of 80%.
"Improving the trunk roads along the river will help build and improve a comprehensive three-dimensional transportation corridor that connects the upstream and downstream and the left and right banks of the Yangtze River, strengthen regional coordination and integration, better play the unique advantages of the Yangtze River Economic Belt that runs across the east and west, connects the north and south, and reaches the rivers and seas, and further promote the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt." A relevant responsible person from the National Development and Reform Commission said.
"At present, the construction of the trunk road network along the Yangtze River still has many sections to be connected and prominent inter-provincial bottlenecks." Relevant responsible persons from the Comprehensive Planning Department of the Ministry of Transport said that the next step will be to actively seek support from ultra-long-term special treasury bonds to accelerate the improvement of the trunk road network along the Yangtze River. "On the one hand, we will scientifically promote the expansion and reconstruction of busy channels of national expressways, accelerate the construction of sections to be connected and the quality upgrade of low-grade sections of ordinary national and provincial trunk roads, and improve the overall efficiency of the road network.
