The President condemned the recent acts of violence that occurred in Canete and asked Congress to approve the extension of the State of Emergency for the provinces of Arauco Biobo Malleco and Cautn.The President of the Republic Sebastian Pinera supported the work of the security forces in the South Macrozone on Thursday and condemned the acts of violence that occurred in Canete. We are always going to deeply regret all the loss of human life and also the existence of wounded and victims of violence. The primary responsibility for the loss of life and for the wounded of both civilians and uniformed personnel that occurred in recent times. in the provinces that are currently under a State of Exception it falls to organized crime drug trafficking and terrorism organizations added President Piera. In this difficult and necessary task the Carabineros and the Investigative Police with the support of the Armed Forces have the full support of this President and our Government and I am sure they also have the full support of the vast majority of Chileans. and Chileans who want to live with greater peace tranquility and security concluded the President.
