Naval presentation
With its 206 years of history, the “Arturo Prat” Naval School was present with a total of 391 men and women, who were led by their Director, Captain of the Ship Gonzalo Tappen, followed by his General Staff; they paid tribute to their comrades in arms with whom for more than two centuries they have sworn to defend the Homeland, giving their lives if necessary, as their motto says: Win or Die.
Following the removal of the Naval School Band, it was the turn of the Naval Polytechnic Academy, led by the Director of Education of the Navy and Head of the Presentation Force, Rear Admiral Sebastián Gutiérrez, together with his General Staff.
Then, it was the section of Naval Reserve Officers under the command of Captain Juan Rafael Mery who, with 103 members, paraded in this Great Military Parade 2024. It should be noted that these men and women have great affection and attachment to the Chilean Navy, joining its ranks with the purpose of contributing to the link with the civil community.
