The advanced training of chefs of educational institutions of Ivano-Frankivsk region is one of the priority areas of work defined in the strategy of reforming the school nutrition system for the period up to 2027.
As part of the implementation of the Strategy under the auspices of the first lady of Elena Zelenskaya on the basis of the culinary hub of Ivano-Frankivsk professional college of technologies and business began training for chefs of general secondary education institutions.
In the period from March 24 to March 27, agents of changes in advanced training for 12 chefs of general secondary education institutions.
The participants got acquainted with:
with the updated menu and modern methods of its preparation
have mastered new cooking and equipment technologies
received appropriate certificates
The knowledge and professional competencies acquired by the chefs will help to develop healthy nutrition skills among education applicants and will change the approach to the nutrition culture of children.
It should be noted that a culinary hub was created in 2024, and more than 2 million 700 thousand UAH was spent on its arrangement, including:
2 million 537 thousand UAH - from the regional budget
170 thousand UAH - for college expense
