On October 11, 2024, Ambassador to Chad Wang Xining met with Chad's Ambassador-designate to China Chaemi.
Ambassador Wang congratulated Chad on his appointment as Ambassador to China and said that President Xi Jinping and President Mohamed had a successful meeting during the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, and agreed to upgrade China-Chad relations to a strategic partnership and jointly plan the future direction of cooperation. He hoped that the two sides would work closely together to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state and let the results of the summit benefit the two countries and their peoples as soon as possible.
Sha spoke highly of China's achievements in modernization and the results of cooperation between Chad and China in various fields. He said he was deeply honored to be appointed ambassador to China and hoped to cooperate with his Chinese colleagues to jointly promote the deepening and substantive development of the Chad-China strategic partnership.
