This is yet another acquisition by the Government of Cape Verde in Portugal of two PCR equipment real time reagents and test kits for the Virology Laboratory acquired in the amount of 700000 euros with financing from the World Bank and of the Executive led by Ulisses Correia e Silva.The arrival of this flight was attended by the President of the National Institute of Public Health Maria da Luz Lima and by the Director of the Office of Pharmaceutical Services Bruno Santos. For the president of INSP it is expected that with this load it will be possible to resume the normal rhythm of the Laboratory in the diagnosis of covid-19.Also in statements to the Press the Director of the Pharmaceutical Services Office Bruno Santos confirmed the arrival of a plane with personal protective equipment yesterday morning masks goggles visors smocks swabs etc.. This is another national acquisition that came directly from a flight from China and that is expected to arrive in Praia on Sunday.On the same SATA flight that arrived yesterday afternoon around 135 passengers who were stranded in Lisbon also disembarked. According to the authorities these people will be placed in mandatory quarantine in hotels in the capital and all costs are being borne by the Government of Cape Verde.
