📋 Tender Overview
The new bridge over the Monday River registers 42% physical execution in Alto Parana. The work will speed up mobility between Presidente Franco and Los Cedrales, reduce travel times and strengthen freight transportation and regional economic activity. The infrastructure is part of the Eastern Metropolitan Corridor (CMDE) and constitutes a key piece of access to the Paraguay-Brazil Integration Bridge. Its implementation will help organize cross-border traffic and divert heavy vehicles from urban centres. Currently, the work is concentrated on the aerial formwork for the lintels and the sliding formwork. This system allows continuous workdays to be maintained 24 hours a day, with day and night teams, to optimize deadlines and meet the planned schedule. The bridge will be 500 meters long and 26.5 meters wide. It will have four lanes of 3.60 meters, shoulders with New Jersey-type fenders, pedestrian paths and bicycle paths on both sides, incorporating conditions of road safety and sustainable mobility. More details The work is in charge of the Puente Monday Consortium, with supervision by the JYI Consortium, within the contract of the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) for the access roads to the second bridge over the Parana River. Once completed, the connection will improve the territorial integration of Alto Parana, facilitate the daily movement of the population and give greater fluidity to commercial exchange with Brazil.
