The meeting is part of the construction of the National Body Camera Project, whose objective is to qualify criminal evidence and protect police officers and citizens in everyday interactions.
For the executive secretary of the MJSP, Ricardo Cappelli, the invitation to states to collaborate in the preparation of the project also meets the precept of a federative pact established by the Unified Public Security System (Susp), which provides for the integration of security bodies and federal, state, district and municipal intelligence and standardization of information, statistics and procedures:
“This is not a discussion of the government, but of the State and science. We have been working with technical evidence. Our central challenge is the consolidation of the Unified Public Security System, transforming financing into structured public policy, which unites everything from the Municipal Guard to the intelligence sectors. Susp does not stand on its own from top to bottom, Susp is a relationship based on mutual trust. That is what will make us able to face the immense challenges we have”, he defended.
