π Tender Overview
The Ministry of Education (MEC) will hold, in October, the National Teaching Test (PND), an exam created to improve the quality of training, stimulate the holding of public tenders and induce the increase of teachers in public schools. The initiative is part of the program, which brings together actions to recognize and qualify the teaching of basic education and encouraging teaching in the country. Launched by MEC, the Practical Guide presents general recommendations and exemplifies some hypotheses of how the PND can be used in selection processes and is foreseen in the edicts.
Public education networks may choose to use the PND as a single or complementary stage of both public tenders and simplified hiring processes they will perform. And to guide managers of the Secretariats of Education, Administration and Management, MEC prepared one focused mainly on the preparation of selection and contest edicts.
The document deepens possible ways to use the examination from current legislation. In addition to the guide, the ministry prepared a model with a statement structure, contemplating the hypotheses for public tenders and simplified selection processes, exemplifying sections and clauses related to the PND.
State and municipal networks have until April 17 to join the teaching national test. The process must be done. Adhesion is voluntary. The MEC also elaborated a tutorial of access and adhesion to detail the step by step. All materials are also available on Simec.
After joining, networks should publish their selection processes with indication of the use of the PND grade and register in the system the selection notice by June. The National Institute for Educational Studies and Research Anisio Teixeira (Inep) will then open the registration for the exam, then will disclose the list of networks they joined and the interested teachers will be able to register.
