In all there are 17 investment projects considered a priority by the Ministry of CommunicationsThe Ministry of Communications MCom approved the project for investment of R 150 million in the implementation of transport network and network infrastructure fixed mobile access data center data center and telecommunications network virtualization. Ordinance 54452022 published on Wednesday 4 in the Official Gazette DOU considers the proposal of the company Unifique Telecomunicaes for the purpose of issuing debentures as a priority. The project will benefit the state of Rio Grande do Sul.The Ordinance is valid for five years within this period the company must use the funds raised or return the amount. According to Ordinance MCom 5022020 which establishes the procedures for approval and monitoring of investment projects in the sector it is also up to the company to send a final report within 90 days after using the investment in addition to keeping the documentation for consultation and supervision by the control bodies.With the approval there are already 17 investment projects considered a priority by the MCom since 2020. Together they imply more than R 16 billion in fundraising destined to the modernization installation and expansion of telecommunications networks. The proposals are marked as strategic for the government and important for expanding the supply of services to the population.
