The President of the Council of the Republic, Francisco Pascual Eyegue Obama Asue, chaired this Friday a meeting of the Board of Directors of this body whose objective was to present and debate several documents recently issued by the institution.
The Council of the Republic, a consulting body of the State, has recently issued several documents to the executive, in response to the request sent to this body by the National Council of Economic and Social Development and its positive evaluations of the events of August 3, 1979, recently held in the capital city of La Paz.
The presentation of these documents was the objective of the direct council meeting this Friday, chaired by the President of the institution Francisco Pascual Obama Asue.
The Secretary General of the body, Jose Maria Ncogo Bacale Biyi, has been in charge of presenting these works, which after deliberations, have earned the congratulations of the attendees for their content and the demands of their preparation.
The President of the Council of the Republic, who also congratulated these works, ended the meeting by inviting the members of the board of directors to always work within the framework of the powers that the law grants to the Council of the Republic, as a consulting body of the State.
