About a month in Belarus the action No to double standards of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities was held launched by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection in support of Belarusian Paralympians.After The International Paralympic Committee suspends Belarus membership in the organization depriving them of The most athletes with disabilities are able to perform at international tournaments concerned citizens from different regions of the country wanted to express opinion about what is happening and support athletes.Everyone could record video messages and send a link to them to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. Since November 23 it has been received more than 50 stories.At the end of the action the videos were sent to the Committee The United Nations On the Rights of Persons with Disabilities as well as international special human rights procedures designed to promote inclusion to pursue respect for the human rights of persons with disabilities. All videos are available on the website in social networks and YouTube channel of the Ministry.Belarusians do not agree with the decision of the International Paralympic Committee. Its not just people with disabilities who have spoken about this. but also ordinary citizens from teachers to entire newspaper editorial offices. It shows how much our people unite in difficult moments demonstrate their readiness help defend the truth.
