The Ministry of Transport hosted a meeting of the curators of the sub-sectors of the transport complex with representatives of the primary trade union organizations of the branch trade union BelProfTrans. The event was chaired by Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Natalya Aleksandrovich as part of a training course for youth trade union activists on the theme Belarus - a country of historical memory.The meeting was held in the format of an open dialogue. Representatives of the transport department spoke about the situation in all sub-sectors of the transport complex and work under sanctions restrictions. It was not only about the changes that affected the industry. The speakers paid much attention to the issues of providing social guarantees to young personnel in the organizations of the industry and improving the health of workers. Natalya Alexandrovich noted the importance of holding such meetings with young people as the most active and creative part of the labor community. The representative of the leadership of the Ministry of Transport informed that despite the current restrictions there is currently an increase in key indicators for freight and passenger traffic. Infrastructural development continues - today more than two hundred investment projects are being implemented in the industry. The activities of such basic documents as the state programs Transport Complex and Roads of Belarus are being carried out.Certainly taking into account external factors adjustments were made to some areas of work. At the same time the industry successfully performs the main function of transporting goods and passengers as well as ensuring the quality of transport services provided. The Ministry of Transport pays the main attention to ensuring the financial stability of key enterprises of aviation rail and road transport and the road sector. In fact at present the industry is managed manually this is a daily job the Deputy Minister of Transport noted. Young trade union activists took an active part in the conversation raised a number of topical and problematic topics. In particular they were concerned about the prospects for the development of the transport complex as well as what measures are being taken to secure young specialists in the workplace and how they are reflected in collective agreements.At the end of the meeting Natalya Aleksandrovich thanked the youth for the constructive dialogue and their interest in the work of the state body and encouraged them to express their opinions ideas and proposals.
