The works of modernization of the Beira Alta line that IP has ongoing will be completed in its entirety until the end of March and the complete opening of the line to the pampilhosa including the new agreement of connection to the North Line it will be possible to conclude the set of surveys necessary for the issuance of certificates of compliance in the national regulation (National Rules) to the (UE) - Interoperability of the European rail system.
These certificates are necessary whenever a new line enters the service or in the case of great modernizations with long stops as is the situation of the Beira Alta line.
For the beginning of exploitation by rail operators it is still necessary to carry out gear of formation of drivers.
