His Excellency Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force received in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam Speaker of the House of Representatives a delegation from the US Congress headed by His Excellency Senator Rick Scott Senator of the United States of America member of the Armed Services Committee of the Council in the presence of His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi Minister of Defense Affairs on Wednesday morning July 5 2023.During the meeting His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force praised the good friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America and valued the existing cooperation between the two friendly countries in various fields including the exchange of experiences in the military field and defense cooperation stressing the importance of this close cooperation which is witnessing continuous development and growth.The meeting was attended by Major General Hassan Mohammed Saad Director of the General Command Office Major General Ghanem Ibrahim Al-Fadala Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations Major General Dr. Yousef Rashid Fleifel Head of Military Justice and President of the Military Court of Cassation Rear Admiral Mohammed Yousef Al-Asam Director of Military Cooperation and a number of senior officers of the Bahrain Defense Force as well as Mr. Stephen Bondy Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Bahrain and Colonel Christopher Floyd Military Attach at the United States Embassy of America.
