The Ayacucho Regional Directorate of Agriculture, through the Project Recovery of Water Regulation Ecosystem Services in 119 micro-basins in the provinces of Huamanga, Cangallo, Vilcas Huaman and Sucre, continues to develop technical assistance in the different intervention areas, with the aim of strengthening the capacities of the beneficiaries and ensuring the proper management of forest plantations.
On this occasion, the technical team monitored pine and alder plantations, in addition to providing technical assistance in the installation of radiata pine plantations, training pruning and cultural work. These activities were developed with the beneficiaries of the communities of the Chalcos district and the Chilcayocc sector, in the province of Sucre.
The execution of these actions will improve the development and growth of established forest species, contributing to the recovery of water regulation ecosystem services. The work will continue permanently in the different districts where the project is being carried out in the province of Sucre.
