π Tender Overview
It will be the fifth judicial district in the country to implement these methodologies that allow faster and more effective resultsStarting this Friday the 24th of the present, the Superior Court of Ayacucho will launch the Pilot Project Orality in the Tenure Processes and Visitation Regime, as well as the Corporate Family Judicial Office Model in two specialty courts, in Huamanga.
The orality scheme will be developed by the 1st and 2nd Family Courts of the jurisdiction, which have technological and physical infrastructure adapted to the needs of oral justice.
The aforementioned infrastructure includes equipped hearing rooms, as well as a Gesell camera for the correct opinion gathering of children and adolescents.
FAST ATTENTION
The project, promoted by Budget Program 0067: Speed in Family Judicial Processes (PP 0067) chaired by counselor Johnny Caceres Valencia, has the objective of optimizing judicial management to provide faster and more effective attention.
According to recent monitoring carried out in the Court of Ayacucho, this judicial district presents a significant and growing procedural burden in family matters, mainly in cases of possession and visitation, which shows a lack of efficient mechanisms to resolve conflicts of this nature.
In this sense, orality means a fast, effective and innovative strategy that will reduce trial time, improve the quality of service and encourage the active participation of the parties involved.
The aforementioned strategy consists of two stages, the first of which is the consolidation of the Corporate Family Judicial Office Model, the basis for, in a second stage, the orality project to be effectively executed.
After accrediting its technical, operational and organizational capacity, the aforementioned court requested its incorporation into the project, which is already executed by the courts of Arequipa, La Libertad, Huaura and Lambayeque.
Before the start of the orality pilot, specialized personnel from PP 0067 have carried out training and inductions for judges and multidisciplinary teams on the model.
It is worth mentioning that multidisciplinary teams, made up of professionals in psychology, social work, education and medicine, play a fundamental role both in the comprehensive care of the parties and in the preparation of technical reports for the adequate resolution of the processes.
SPEED AND EFFICIENCY
It should be noted that the results of the implementation of orality in the courts of Arequipa, La Libertad and Huaura reflect a positive impact on the resolution time of cases.
In the case of Arequipa, for example, the agreements after intrajudicial family mediation were concluded in an average of 22 business days, when previously the procedure took several months.
For its part, in La Libertad, cases can be resolved in 19 business days, while, in Huaura, the duration of the processes is reduced to an average of 6 days.
This week the new Corporate Family Office Model was also inaugurated in Chiclayo, which brings together the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 15th Specialized Family Courts, which will apply orality.
