Tours in Tunnel 9, Channel 9 and Channel 27 allow us to strengthen the procurement process for the preparation of the technical file and the supervision of the project.The Regional Government of Arequipa, through Autodema, continues to carry out technical inspections in the major hydraulic infrastructure of the Colca-Siguas System, in the province of Caylloma, as part of the procurement process for the Commissioning of the Majes Siguas Project.
On this new day, the participating delegations carried out technical tours in Tunnel 9 and Channel 9, located in the Achoma district, as well as in Channel 27, located in the Chinini ravine, Huambo district, with the purpose of verifying in the field their characteristics, operating conditions and technical aspects of these important hydraulic infrastructures.
During the visits, Autodema professionals provided technical support to the delegations, providing specialized information on the operation of the inspected components and facilitating the development of the scheduled activities.
The inspections are part of the technical schedule established within the procurement process, which will allow the selection of the companies responsible for preparing the technical file and supervising the Commissioning of the Majes Siguas Project, an intervention aimed at optimizing the hydraulic infrastructure and strengthening the management of water resources.
These actions are developed in coordination with the Majes Siguas PMO Consortium, under the supervision of the MIDAGRI Subsector Irrigation Program (PSI) and with the advice of Japanese specialists, guaranteeing a technical, transparent and competitive process.
