The subject of Conversion or reparative therapies deals with a motion for a resolution tabled by Mr Mario Lindner SP 558 A E This term refers to those controversial methods that aim to turn homosexuality into asexual or heterosexual behavior. Even though all leading international psychiatric and psychological societies have long rejected such attempts at treatment the debate that is taking place especially in the US is increasingly reaching Europe the applicant points out. In the UK for example a recent survey found that five percent of LGBT respondents lesbian gay bisexual transgender had already been confronted with conversion therapies and two percent were even actively affected. In the interests of a proactive approach to this problem Lindner advocates that the law prohibit the use of reparative therapies for minors. Especially with regard to the possible long-term consequences - depression anxiety disorders self-destructive behavior and even suicidality - legal regulations should not be issued until it is too late for those affected. A similar request has also been assigned to the Equal Treatment Committee 557 A E.SPO advocates smoking ban on childrens playgroundsIt is unreasonable that smokes on Austrias playgrounds MEP Karin Greiner stated in a further application of the SP 515 A . Not only parents and children complained about this situation but also communities and countries which can not implement this desire but lack of skills. A corresponding adaptation of the Tobacco and Nonsmoker Protection Act TNRSG is therefore urgently required is the demand of the Social Democrats whose request is a supplement to paragraph 12 1 3 and those open spaces dedicated exclusively to recreational activities of children Playgrounds .NEOS want comprehensive study on differences in benefits in the statutory health insuranceIn a NEOS motion for a resolution MEP Gerald Loacker asked the Minister of Health to launch a detailed study on the differences in cash benefits in terms of diversity subsidies tariffs and deductibles as soon as possible 520 A E including the actuarial evidence for the equivalence of the various service catalogs taking into account the applicable deductible modalities and the study would have to be updated every two years. In particular the health spokesman of the NEOS points out that currently BVA insured persons are clearly in the advantage with their improvement especially in grant payments make noticeable eg vaccinations remedies and dental services. The argument that BVA insureds finance their better benefits with deductibles in his view only partially correct. Because compared to the GKK average only one fifth of the better BVA benefits are covered by higher deductibles Loacker points out.
