📋 Tender Overview
From July 2024, the digital building submission of the building police (MA37) will be presented in a new format. In intensive cooperation between all departments concerned, both feedback from users and new innovative solutions were used to improve the process. The new appearance of the digital building submission shows the ongoing efforts of the digitization capital Vienna to use digital possibilities to improve the procedures and make them even more transparent. With more clarity, additional interaction options and the possibility of making ongoing improvements, the new digital building submission will be even more user-friendly. The City of Vienna is constantly working to further develop the administrative processes in the interests of the people of Vienna and is using the innovative possibilities of the digital world, without, however, foregoing the conventional route, says Vice Mayor and Housing Councilor Kathrin Gaal.
After submitting a building application, a completely redesigned process overview provides information about the progress of the process and offers further interaction options. This is particularly relevant for simplified approval procedures where no building permit is sent in writing. Citizens can use an access code to check whether their application has already been approved. This saves calls to the building inspectorate and you can check at any time.
Status queries, interactions & caching now possible digitally
The user-friendliness, clarity and accessibility of the digital building submission have also been increased. In addition to caching applications, they can now also be processed by several people before they are sent. This is an advantage for larger architectural firms with different teams. Data from companies can now be imported using their company registration number, which means that this information no longer has to be entered yourself. Contact persons for companies can also be entered to facilitate communication in procedures. Uploading documents has also been improved and made clearer.
In addition to digital procedures, conventional paper procedures also benefit from digitization. Using the appropriate access code, it is now possible to upload documents directly to an ongoing procedure. Since 2018, it has been one of the pioneers of online applications, thus demonstrating Viennas position as a digitalisation capital. It is available on the My Vienna portal (https://mein.wien.gv.at).
