The Supervisory Board of Postbus AG decided to appoint Silvia Kaupa-Götzl, Member of the Management Board. From 1 March 2024, Roman Krebs will take over the steering wheel at Postbus alongside board member Alfred Loidl.
RomanKrebs began his career in the automotive industry before joining the ÖBB Group in 2009. Since 2016, he has been responsible for the commercial tasks of Personenverkehr AG and its subsidiaries, which also include Postbus AG, as Head of Controlling. In addition, he has played a key role in the negotiations for PV AG's transport service contracts in recent years – expertise that he will also need in his new role as a member of the Management Board.
Due to his many years of activities and experience, Roman Krebs has the ideal prerequisites to master the current challenges of Postbus AG.
Silvia Kaupa-Götzl hands over strengthened company
After 18 years of successful work in the ÖBB Group in various positions – since 2015 as a member of the Board of Management of Österreichische Postbus AG – the outgoing member of the Board of Management Silvia Kaupa-Götzl has decided to embark on new career paths. Kaupa-Götzl has led the Postbus with a steady hand, even in difficult times. Under her leadership, Austria's largest bus company was able to hold its own in a fiercely competitive environment and open up additional business areas such as the Postbus Shuttle. In addition, she and her team have actively driven the digitalization of the company and the decarbonization of bus transport through the introduction of e-buses.
With the management duo Roman Krebs and Alfred Loidl, the course has been set for the continuous development of the company and the development of new business areas at Postbus.
