There will be changed traffic conditions from 26 May at the intersection of Hume Highway and Cutler Road in Cabramatta for the installation of a red light speed camera.
The camera will be installed to monitor north-east bound traffic as part of the Saving Lives Accelerated Program.
The need for this camera was identified after 15 crashes, including five serious injuries, were recorded at this site between 1 January 2018 and 31 December 2022.
Work will take place over ten day shifts and 14 night shifts from 7am to 5pm and 8pm to 5am six days a week (excluding Saturdays) between 26 May and 26 June, weather permitting.
Motorists are advised to drive to these conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
