On October 31, 2025, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin was invited to attend the Republic Day reception hosted by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in China. Liu Bin congratulated Kazakhstan on Republic Day and said that under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Tokayev, the development of China-Kazakhstan relations has been fruitful. This year, the two heads of state met twice and reached broad consensus. Last week, the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was successfully held. It made a top-level design and strategic outline for Chinas economic and social development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, and also brought new opportunities to promote mutually beneficial cooperation between China and other countries around the world. China is willing to strengthen coordination and communication with all parties including Kazakhstan, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, promote the construction of a more fair and reasonable global governance system, and work together towards a community with a shared future for mankind. Kazakhstan Ambassador to China Nuryshev said that Kazakhstan-China friendship and mutual trust are increasingly consolidated, and the connotation of cooperation continues to enrich. This year, the two countries have had frequent high-level exchanges, elevating Kazakhstan-China relations to a new level. The two sides have achieved fruitful results from cooperation in economy, trade, energy, transportation, finance, and people-to-people and cultural exchanges, and international cooperation continues to deepen. Kazakhstan is willing to work with China to inherit good-neighborly friendship and promote Kazakhstan-China permanent comprehensive strategic partnership to a new level.
