The workshops began in the I.E Rebeca Carrion Cachot in inter -institutional cooperation The Markham private school.UGEL 07, through the Regular and Special Basic Education Management Area (AGEBRE), within the framework of an inter -institutional cooperation agreement with the Markham College, began the artistic development workshop writing of scripts for theater aimed at students from 3rd to 6th grade of the I.E. Rebeca Carrion Cachot, located in the Miraflores district.
This workshop is part of a social service project of the Markham College Theater Department, inspired by the Scene & Heard model, a London beneficial organization that connects children with artistic professionals. The initiative seeks to promote creativity, strengthen self -esteem and improve the personal security of participants through theatrical activities.
The sessions will be led by teacher Samantha Young and will have the active participation of students of 5th and 6th Baccalaureate of the Markham College. Over four months, children will have the opportunity to unleash their imagination, create their own scripts and finally present an open play to the entire educational community.
Preliminary coordination and accompaniment to the development of the activity are in charge of the educational tutoring and educational guidance, Eduardo Castilla del Agebre.
This joint effort reflects the commitment of both institutions to promote art and creativity in basic education, providing students with a space to express themselves, grow and develop fully.
