Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Pambukhchyan Deputy Ministers Artyush Grigoryan Ara Nazaryan Davit Hambaryan and Director of the Rescue Service Armen Gasparyan visited Garni Geophysical Observatory GGO. The officials of MES participated in the event organized on the 31st anniversary of the establishment of Regional Survey for Seismic Protection. Minister A. Pambukhchyan congratulated the employees wished them efficient and full of new achievements work.During the event Director of the SNCO Sos Margaryan congratulated the colleagues introduced the accomplishments recorded over the years and the upcoming plans. Sos Margaryan informed that in 2023 the 17th annual international seismological school entitled Modern methods ofprocessing and interpreting seismological data of the United Geophysical Service is to be held in Armenia.With the support from the Department of Environmental Management and Analysis of the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission new stations will be located the cooperation in the field of science will be strengthened. The application of the earthquake sensation of the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre will have also an Armenian part which is planned to be applied in the Republic of Armenia as well especially among schoolchildren.At the end of the event on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the establishment of Regional Survey for Seismic Protection SNCO the employees who had a significant contribution in the establishment of the Survey were awarded with certificates and certificates of appreciation.
