📋 Tender Overview
The Regional Government of Arequipa, in coordination with Provias Nacional, manages the transfer of two modular Bailey-type bridges, each 60 meters long, which will allow traffic to be restored on the Uchumayo Bypass, after the damage recorded on this important entrance route to the city.
One of the bridges corresponds to the Montalvo bridge, located in the Moquegua region, which is already in transit to Arequipa, while the second bridge will be transferred from Lima.
Both structures will be transported using low-bed trailers and will enable two directions of circulation: north-south and south-north, contributing to reducing the traffic congestion generated in the area.
The installation of these modular Bailey-type bridges will be the responsibility of the road concessionaire, which will allow trafficability to be restored in this strategic corridor for the mobility and economic development of the region.
The Regional Government of Arequipa continues to coordinate actions with the competent entities to address the road emergency and guarantee safe travel conditions for the population.
