📋 Tender Overview
After many years and, for the first time, respecting the methodological guide of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), the Sanchez Carrion 2026-2030 Local Tourism Development Plan (PDTL) was formulated in a participatory manner. Given this, the plenary session of the Provincial Council, in the use of its powers, unanimously approved this important management tool.
Having this plan will allow us to strengthen the tourism development of the province in an orderly and sustainable manner, promoting the conservation and enhancement of our cultural, archaeological, historical and natural resources. In addition, it will facilitate the management of projects and investments aimed at improving infrastructure and tourist services, boosting the local economy and generating greater opportunities for the population.
Likewise, the PDTL will contribute to positioning Huamachuco and the Sanchez Carrion province as competitive tourist destinations at the regional and national level, strengthening our cultural identity and promoting articulated participation between authorities, the private sector, academia and the community.
