The Identity Card will be awarded to all Angolan citizens after birth as a way of simplifying the process of obtaining this document. The measure is part of the Simplification of Public Administration Acts and Procedures Project referred to for short as SIMPLIFICA 1.0 presented this Wednesday June 23 at the National School of Administration and Public Policies in Luanda.The Minister of Justice and Human Rights Francisco Queiroz said that the existing technical capacity is being improved to unify data from the Identity Card and birth registration in a single database. In addition to this advance Francisco Queiroz said that there is also the purpose of speeding up the process of issuing and delivering the Identity Card. Despite the great efforts that have already been made we need to make the ID card come out faster he said. The Secretary of State for Local Authorities Mrcio Daniel said that SIMPLIFICA 1.0 represents an opportunity for municipal administrations to become the main center for providing public services par excellence.We believe that the work starts now. The work of SIMPLIFICA which today has its public act of presentation passes the ball to the State administration central and local so that they can now respond to the challenge that is being launched he pointed out .In turn the Minister of Education Lusa Grilo considered the SIMPLIFICA 1.0 Project a gain for students as it will facilitate the entire process from entry to completion of studies at different levels of education.I believe it will make life much easier for students throughout the education system because we know that over time there are difficulties for students to access higher education because of the limited time between issuing the certificate and enrolling he said.For the judge counselor of the Constitutional Court Carlos Teixeira the simplification of administrative acts and procedures will improve the functioning of the courts.There will naturally be an influence of this ambitious project in the courts. Because in addition to the specific processes of the courts there is also a set of materially administrative functions which are developed in the courts and which will have to accompany this great challenge he stressed.The SIMPLIFICA 1.0 Project corresponding to the year 2021 considered the simplification of 32 administrative acts and procedures to obtain in addition to the Identity Card driving license passport licenses among other documents.With the implementation of the project the Executive intends to make the public administration more efficient effective less bureaucratic and modern in order to make life easier for citizens and companies.
