📋 Tender Overview
One thousand and six schools will benefit, from 2025, from technological equipment (computers and internet) to facilitate the teaching and learning process, the Minister of Education, Luisa Grilo, announced this Wednesday in Luanda. Speaking at the international symposium on educational assessment, under the motto a thousand paths, one journey and multiple learnings, the minister said that they are introducing the digitalization of the education system. According to Luisa Grilo, the use of technology in Angolan primary education is still ephemeral, but efforts are being made to reverse this situation. She said that with the implementation of technology in schools, students will use computers and increase their knowledge in several areas. She highlighted the commitment to explore and deepen the discussion on education indicators, taking into account that educational assessment is a fundamental and urgent issue for the construction of an education and teaching system. The symposium is a space for reflection on the role that external assessment plays in the formulation of public policies, its impact on student learning, challenges faced and feasibility in the Angolan context, with a view to implementing a National Assessment System.
