The countrys Civil and Criminal Identification Offices will start on Wednesday January 8 2020 an ID card issuing program for children from six to 17 years old called Fourth of the Kandengues. The program will run every Wednesday in January February and March this year notes in a statement the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights. The option for the first three months is justified because it is a period of great demand in civil and criminal identification posts due to the beginning of school enrollment. The document released on Friday underlines that attendance to the public on normal working days will be maintained and parents and guardians can take their students on any day of the week from 8 to 15 30. Wednesdays will be exclusively for children says the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights. The initiative is based on the high demand and good results achieved in the latest Dipanda BI campaign which on four Saturdays of November 2019 allowed 28000 children across the country to handle ID Cards. The action according to the note is also part of the celebrations of January 5th Identifier Day which marks the date on which in 1976 then President Antnio Agostinho Neto issued Angola Independent ID Card No. 1.
