π Tender Overview
The Secretary of State for Digital Transformation and Telecommunications, Marc Rossell, presented this Wednesday a new step taken by the Government to continue advancing the digitization of the country and the deployment of the digital transformation program. This is concrete with the launch of the Data Intelligence Agency, which is a national body whose main objective is to define and articulate the bases, methodologies and tools for the correct management, use and exploitation of data to obtain unique and reliable data.
As Rossell has explained, the role of the agency will focus on providing the best tools so that, for example, when a citizen changes a physical or banking address, this information can also be entered and changed automatically in all the places that the citizen has previously provided information on. "What we guarantee with these practices is that the digital information held by the administrations or companies is reliable and trustworthy, therefore, we improve attention to the citizen and simplify administrative management", he explained.
The creation of this entity is perfectly aligned with the strategic lines and deployment that countries across Europe are doing. Andorra takes the step with the approval of the Data Intelligence Agency in order to be in line with the rest of the states.
The entity will allow internal and external management advice to be given to both companies and the public sector so that the data managed by users and citizens is always correct and, therefore, does not generate dysfunctions or conflicts when this data is processed aggregated and in the digital field. In addition, the agency will also provide strategic support to the deployment of use cases or initiatives that integrate and value the use of data analytics and AI.
The Data Intelligence Agency will make it possible to have consistent and value-generating data, which will also make it possible to have an improvement in decision-making, have a data strategy and promote new techniques data analysis.
