From Monday 12 to Sunday 18 October, ProRail will be working on the track between Amersfoort Centraal, Putten and Apeldoorn.As a result, trains cannot run on parts of the route during this period.NS is deploying replacement buses.We advise travelers to plan their journey before departure in the NS app or via ns.nl.
The work will take place in two phases.From October 12 to 16, buses instead of trains will run between Amersfoort Central Station and Apeldoorn.On October 17 and 18, buses will run between Amersfoort Central Station and Putten.Travel advice is available in the travel planner. Please note: from October 12 to 16, ProRail is also working on the track between Amersfoort and Barneveld Centrum.Keolis operates on this route.That is why they use replacement buses during the work.These buses are also visible in the NS app.
ActivitiesProRail contractors carry out various activities on the track.For example, they renew rails, sleepers and ballast.They also replace parts of the overhead lines and work on switches.With this work, the track remains reliable and safe for train traffic.
