The Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy announces a change to the Invitation to submit applications for direct approval of projects under the EE Scheme (Part A): Modernization and Development of the Transmission and Distribution Electricity Network (INVITATION MS EE-A).The invitation is implemented within the framework of the 2024-2030 Modernization Fund, which is implemented by the European Union to support investments in the modernization of energy systems and the improvement of energy efficiency in some member states. The fund is financed by the auctioning of greenhouse gas emissions rights under the EU Emissions Trading System, with the funds available for each beneficiary Member State being released periodically.
The approximate amount of funds of the Modernization Fund, which are available for the co-financing of projects based on this invitation, now amounts to 58,659,000 euros.
