Summary
This summer, ProRail is working on the track at various times. There is therefore no train traffic between Almere Center and Lelystad Center from Saturday 18 July to Sunday 26 July. From Sunday, August 2 to Sunday, August 16, there will be work between Almere Center and Weesp and Naarden-Bussum. NS will then not be able to run trains on both routes. Travelers can detour or use NS buses.
Work Almere Centrum-Lelystad CentrumDuring the works between Almere Centrum and Lelystad Centrum, NS uses express buses and stop buses to take travelers to their destination. This work will take place between Thursday, July 16 and Sunday, July 26. In addition, travelers traveling via Zwolle in the direction of Amsterdam can detour via Amersfoort. Work on Almere Centrum - Weesp and Naarden-Bussum From Sunday 2 to Sunday 16 August, NS cannot run trains due to the work between Almere Centrum and Weesp and Almere Centrum and Naarden-Bussum. NS uses express buses and stop buses. Are you traveling from Zwolle or further north towards Schiphol or Amsterdam? Then you travel by train via Amersfoort. The buses can be busier during the week. Travelers are advised to take a longer travel time into account. This summer, ProRail is working on renewing the track around Almere Centrum station, Almere Oostvaarders and Almere Muziekwijk. This approach improves the safety, reliability and flow of train traffic in Almere.
