With the month of October approaching the most prominent and important month on the annual calendar to enhance global advocacy to combat breast cancer and mobilize support to spread societal awareness of the importance of early detection and the role of diagnosis during its early stages in the success of treatment the Pink Caravan invited government and private sector organizations to cooperate To achieve common goals through the events it plans at the community level during the International Month for Breast Cancer Awareness.With an incidence rate of 12 of all new annual cases globally breast cancer has become the most common cancer in 2021 according to reports issued by the World Health Organization.For more than ten years the Pink Caravan one of the initiatives of the Friends of Cancer Patients Association has made unremitting efforts to spread community awareness provide free medical examinations for early detection of breast cancer and motivate government institutions private sector companies and partners concerned with sponsoring various activities to spread awareness of breast cancer. In the United Arab Emirates it has made great achievements and mobilized a group of influential names and personalities to support this noble cause.In 2021 the generous support of our sponsors and partners enabled the Pink Caravan to offer thousands of free early detection breast cancer screenings including 2197 clinical exams 1019 mammograms and 208 ultrasoundThe Pink Caravan announced that there are several ways to interact and participate in the Pink Caravan program for the International Month for Breast Cancer Awareness Support and Sponsorship.
