The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf attended Tuesday in New York the opening session of the general debate of the 79th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), scheduled for 30 September and themed “Leaving no one behind: acting together for the advancement of peace, sustainable development, and human dignity for present and future generations,”.
During the general debate, light should be shed on several priority issues to Algeria, like the Palestinian issue and the completion of the decolonization process, and the issues relating to the challenges of security, development and environment the humanity is facing in general, and the areas to which our country belongs in particular.
The FM will deliver a speech in which he will present Algeria’s positions and its viewpoint on how to address global challenges and the areas to which our country belongs in particular.
