π Tender Overview
The Registration, Domains and VAT Administration (AED) rejects with the greatest firmness the unfounded accusations made by Mr. Fritsch and reaffirms its full support for its agents, who carry out their missions in strict compliance with the law, their mandate and the decisions of the competent courts. It also recalls that its organization is based on a clear distribution of skills and a functional separation of internal responsibilities, guaranteeing the impartiality and independence of decisions taken within the framework of its legal missions. In the case concerned, the decisions and acts carried out by the competent services were carried out in the exercise of the powers that the law confers on the administration, in compliance with the applicable procedures and under the control of the judge. The establishment and recovery of tax debts are subject to legal procedures governed by law and accompanied by guarantees for all parties concerned. In a state governed by the rule of law, administrative or tax decisions can be challenged through the legal remedies provided for by law, and not through personal attacks aimed at the officials responsible for their application. Freedom of expression, a fundamental principle of our democracy, cannot justify the dissemination of unfounded accusations or attacks on the honor and reputation of public officials. The AED reserves the right to take all necessary steps to protect its officials and their reputation. It will remain fully committed to the impartial, rigorous and independent exercise of its legal missions, while respecting the rights of everyone, the principle of equality before taxes and the authority of court decisions.
