From July 23, student admission to vocational education institutions for the 2026/2027 academic year will begin.
People who want to receive vocational education can register on the portal.edu.az platform from July 23 to August 10 and apply through the Electronic student admission to vocational education institutions service. The admission process is intended for those who have completed general or full secondary education. Applications will end on August 10 at 6:00 p.m.
Admission for the 2026/2027 academic year will be held for a total of 33,120 planned places in 149 specialties in 78 vocational education institutions. 24,425 of the plan places were allocated on a state-order basis, and 8,695 on a paid basis.
After checking the correctness of the information in the applications of the electronically registered applicants, their specialization choices will be confirmed by the system. Admission will be carried out on the basis of the average score of grades in the relevant subjects indicated in the certificate for the first and technical vocational education levels, and the results of the final exams for the higher technical vocational education level. Applicants can choose a maximum of 5 majors.
The results of the competition will be placed in the My personal cabinet section of the participants and will also be presented to them via SMS. Candidates who successfully passed the competition will be invited to present the original documents to the vocational training institution where they were accepted at the next stage.
During the electronic registration, the applicants must submit the identity document and the education document (certificate) to the system. Persons with disabilities must submit a document confirming their disability, and persons who have lost their parents or are deprived of parental care must also submit a corresponding document confirming this status electronically.
