Contract Awarded for municipal residential and commercial solid waste contract for the largest of three zones in Hillsborough County for an initial contract term The contract will also give FCC one of the only three exclusive franchises to provide a commercial collection in the County which could grow the backlog up to an additional 100 million.FCC Environmental Services will operate the contract from a soon-to-be-constructed yard with the addition of 95 clean-energy fleet trucks and a new CNG fueling station. Hillsborough County has a population of about 1.5 million and is the fourth-most populous county in Florida.
