Competition Name: Regent Park Basketball Courts Competition Type: ITT Agreement Type: NWPTA Public Opening: Yes Synopsis: Sealed Tenders marked Regent Park Basketball Courts will be received by the Coordinator of Purchasing at: 5th Floor, City Hall, 2476 Victoria Avenue, P.O. Box 1790, Regina, Saskatchewan, S4P 3C8, no later than 2:00 P.M. Central Standard Time, on April 16, 2013. The major items of work are as follows: • Excavate existing sod area, install base & asphalt playing surface. • Court line painting for 2 basketball courts. • Chain link fence re-alignment and replacement around the basketball courts. • Provide court lighting and related electrical equipment (Separate Price #1). • Provide tree removal to clear space for the new courts (Separate Price #2). • Miscellaneous finishing work and landscaping work. Electronic tender documents may be obtained by bona fide bidders at the office of the Coordinator of Purchasing on April 3, 2013 at purchasingbranch@regina.ca On April 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. C.S.T., a pre-tender meeting will be held at the Regent Pool, 3600 McKinley Avenue for the purpose of allowing inspection by prospective bidders and answering questions. Tenders must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or certified cheque in the amount of 10% of the tendered price, payable to the City of Regina and a Consent of Surety to furnish a Performance Bond and Labour and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of 50% of the tendered price.
