There are 3 roundabouts in the entrance to Kensington and 223 lots in the local streets. Briefly, the work includes: 20,000 cu. m. Excavation 44,300 sq. m. Drainage Layer Construction 41,400 sq. m. Granular Base Course 5,700 lin. m. Concrete Curb & Gutter, Splash Apron 3,700 lin. m. Combined Walk 3,300 lin. m. Separate Walk 7,200 tonnes Asphalt Concrete 64 each Catch Basins 800 m. Catch Basin Lead 4,000 sq. m. Lane Construction Additional Information: STARTING DATE: June 16, 2014 COMPLETION DATE: October 31, 2014 A tender contained in a sealed envelope and plainly marked Tender No. 14-0004 will be received up to 2:00 p.m. C.S.T., Thursday, March 13, 2014, for the work described. Interested bidders may obtain tender documents at www.sasktenders.gov.sk.ca after 3:00 p.m. C.S.T., Wednesday, February 19, 2014. It shall be the responsibility of each bidder to obtain the required standard specifications and/or drawings from the web site and consider such prior to submitting a bid. To ensure consideration, all tenders shall be accompanied by the following: a) A bid deposit by Bid Bond for ten (10) percent of the gross tender amount. b) A Consent of Surety to furnish a Contract Performance Bond and Labour and Materials Bond each for fifty (50) percent of the gross tender amount.
