Competition Name: Gravel Crushing Tender Competition Type: ITT Agreement Type: NWPTA Public Opening: Yes Synopsis: TENDER FOR GRAVEL CRUSHING AND PIT RECLAMATION Tenders are being received by the R.M. of Wawken No. 93 for the crushing of approximately 10,000 cubic yards of 7/8 inch standard road gravel, with a potential of more gravel in the proposed area prior to completion. NOTE: The gravel pit includes a large amount of stone located in multiple pockets. Crushing to commence on or before June 15, 2020. A penalty of up to $500.00 per day will be levied for late start. This penalty would be based on Council discretion. This tender also includes the reclamation of the gravel pit. Please note that all reclamation work needs to be completed during the crushing process. Please ensure that all submitted tenders include both reclamation work as well as the crushing process. Completion of the work will only be authorized once all crushing and reclamation is completed. Please contact the office to set up a time to view the pit in order to help with tender pricing. We require pricing for a minimum jaw size of 22” x 36”, as well as separate pricing for a jaw size of 30” x 42” or larger. Also include a list of your equipment with your tender and rates. The R.M. will contact and pay for a qualified engineer to measure the pile(s) after the crushing has been completed. Payment will be made within thirty (30) days of confirmed measurement of the pile(s). Tenders must be submitted in writing and in a sealed envelope marked “GRAVEL TENDER.” All tenders must be submitted before 1700hrs (5:00pm) on Monday, March 16, 2020. LOWEST OR ANY TENDER NOT NECESSARILY ACCEPTED. COUNCIL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL TENDERS.
