Competition Name: Consulting Services for 2015 Waterworks System Assessment and Water Infrastructure Conditions Competition Type: RFP Agreement Type: NWPTA Public Opening: No Synopsis: The City of Regina (the City) is accepting Proposals for Engineering Services for 2015 Waterworks Systems Assessment (2015 WSA) and Water Infrastructure Condition Assessment. As part of Saskatchewans Safe Drinking water strategy, the Ministry of Environment mandated that all municipal water systems in the Province of Saskatchewan must complete a Waterworks System Assessment (WSA) every five (5) years. The first round of the WSA was completed in December 31, 2005. The WSA is an inspection and reporting process intended to identify possible deficiencies in the waterworks system and provide an opportunity to rectify before the waterworks is adversely affected. A WSA is also intended to aid waterworks owners in identifying items such as: potential health risks or environmental impacts; evaluating the current performance of the system; recommending improvements; and, providing cost estimates for upgrades and capital replacement where applicable. The Water Infrastructure Condition Assessment is intended to provide a more detailed analysis of the above ground water infrastructure. This information will be used to inform the long term Water Master Plan. Additional Information: .Consulting Services for 2015 Waterworks System Assessment and Water Infrastructure Conditions
