Contract awarded for : 2026-087 AI Technical Sandbox Ofgem is seeking a secure, cloud-hosted ai technical sandbox solution and associated services to support artificial intelligence innovation, experimentation, testing and evaluation activities. the solution will provide a controlled and isolated environment for testing, demonstrating and validating artificial intelligence technologies, products, services and use cases through structured cohorts and other innovation activities. it will include secure and segregated sandbox environments, hosting, platform services, configuration, onboarding, technical assistance and operational support. the solution will provide tools and functionality to support artificial intelligence model development, proof-of-concept activities, testing, benchmarking, monitoring, model validation, performance assessment and technology evaluation. it will also include capabilities for synthetic data generation, data preparation and data management to support safe experimentation while minimising the use of sensitive or production data. the service will include appropriate security capabilities, including identity and access management, monitoring, logging, audit and reporting functionality, to maintain a secure environment throughout the contract term.
