Contract awarded for Acquisition and recycling of old paper-cardboard from selective collection within the operational area of iok waste management lot-0001, title: 621000/2026/001 acquisition of paper/cardboard - 1, description: this assignment concerns the acquisition and effective recycling of the materials described in appendices i and iv. in the context of this specification and taking into account all legal provisions, 'recycling' is defined in accordance with the waste framework directive as follows: 'any useful application whereby waste materials are reprocessed into products, materials, or substances, for the original purpose or for another purpose. this includes the reprocessing of organic waste, but does not include energy recovery, nor reprocessing into materials intended to be used as fuel or as fill material.' specifically, the bidder must demonstrate in their offer that they minimally transform the waste at the specified processing facility into a raw material that is directly usable for the production of finished products. in the context of this assignment, this means that a processing facility must be able to demonstrate that it produces paper in accordance with en643. it must only be a processing facility and not a transfer station. this service falls within the take-back obligation of fost plus for household packaging waste in accordance with the interregional cooperation agreement regarding the prevention and management of packaging waste. to this end, the contracting authority has entered into an agreement with fost plus, the recognized organization for household packaging waste. this assignment does not relate to the transport between the transfer locations of iok waste management and the processing facility. for this, iok waste management will conduct a separate procedure after the placement of this assignment. all appendices are an integral part of the specification. the contractor must comply with these in full. estimated value excluding vat: 10244.04 eur.Acquisition and recycling of old paper-cardboard from selective collection within the operational area of iok waste management
