Contract awarded for introduction of radiological clinical decision support system as part of the ongoing digitization of the healthcare system, the client is procuring a radiological clinical decision support system (cdss) based on the hospital future act (khzg). the cdss will meet the requirements of funding item 4 (ftb4) of the khzg and the eu medical devices regulation (mdr) and support clinical decision-making through the analysis of extensive health data. the aim is to maximize the medical benefit for patients while at the same time complying with legal requirements. the cloud-based cdss provides trained ai algorithms that are able to consistently recognize the finest details in images or image series. the parallel use of such algorithms can reduce the risk of human error. for example, the detection of acute or incidental pulmonary artery embolisms by ai is faster and, especially in ct examinations for other purposes, also more reliable than human diagnosis alone. the generally very fast processing time can shorten the time between image acquisition and diagnosis, as the ai ??algorithm can reliably and quickly identify abnormalities. ai-based assistance systems thus actively contribute to the prioritization of critical cases. examinations with relevant abnormalities can be prioritized in the diagnosis, which is a great advantage, especially in emergency situations or when there is a high workload. in particular, in the case of acute vascular occlusions of the vessels supplying the brain or intracranial bleeding, early detection and classification by ai can have a decisive influence on the speed of diagnosis and treatment. value of the result: winner selection date : 16/12/2024 date of conclusion of the contract :27/12/2024 estimated value excluding vat :.introduction of radiological clinical decision support system
